As months go by, the Xbox Game Pass becomes an integral part of the Xbox ecosystem. Better still, Microsoft’s subscription gaming service is really at the center of its strategy now. With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, not only can Xbox or PC owners running Windows 10 offer hundreds of games, but any smartphone owner can also use the service’s cloud catalog.
Today, the American website The Verge highlighted an evolution of the Xbox Game Pass app that shows that this value proposition will continue to grow. In fact, the application that allows you to launch games directly from Azure servers now appears to be compatible with foldable screens. So is the famous one Surface Duo is the closest thing to an Xbox portable console. Beneath the dual screen Nintendo DS Air, Microsoft’s foldable smartphone now displays the game on one screen and the touch controls on the other (for compatible games). A very interesting way to quickly play your favorite game, even if the combination of smartphone and controller remains much more efficient and fun at the moment.
Microsoft is turning its Surface Duo into a handheld Xbox today. The latest app update for Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) lets you use one screen for touch controls and the other for game play. It’s like a Nintendo 3DS with Xbox games. Details here: https://t.co/ubbsEAW3r8 pic.twitter.com/aP94t9xgzC
