Sega will host a special live broadcast this Thursday, dedicated to Sonic.
Sonic Central will be broadcast live on May 27 (Thursday) at 9 am EST, 12 noon US EST, 5 pm UK time, and 6 pm US Central Standard Time.
During the live broadcast, Sega will introduce some projects, partnerships and activities of Sonic’s 30th anniversary celebration.
You will be able to watch the video stream on YouTube and Twitch.
The latest games in the Sonic series include Team Sonic Racing in 2019 and Mario & Sonic in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
According to the German dubbing studio and French retailer SoGamely, in terms of upcoming games, “Sonic Colors Remastered” is in development. Then, according to the same retailer, the so-called “Sonic the Hedgehog” compiled game may be on sale.
However, Sega stated that it does sound that there are indeed some new Sonic games under development. Sega stated that it hopes to make Sonic’s 30th anniversary “a year of celebration” through “new games, digital content, events, important announcements, etc.” .
