Tripwire Presents y Torn Banner Studios they just announced that the open beta Chivalry 2 is now available and it will be at least until Tuesday, June 1. So we have the whole weekend and a little more to try the massive first-person combat in the game.
The best part is that anyone who has one of the platforms on which the game will be available will be able to try the beta since it is free. For now there are already reports that the beta gives problems when it comes to testing the cross game, but remember that it has just been published, and that it is a beta, so it is normal that there are problems.
Medieval war
The Chivalry 2 beta gives access to two game modes, one with traditional army versus army battles and a chaotic 64-player free-for-all in which, as the name suggests, we will simply jump onto the battlefield with the mission to kill. everything we see and be the last one standing.

The gameplay is that of a hack and slack in the first person and has a lot of gore, so you have to take that into account in case you are not used to dismemberment every two by three.
In addition, we can customize our avatar with one of the most complete character editors in the saga. We can also get new weapons and armor, so there is a lot of content to discover. Luckily for those who can’t play the beta this weekend, the game won’t be long in coming.
For their part, those who can test it will be able to organize lobbies of 40 or 64 players with players from all platforms, although, as we said, it seems that cross-play has caused problems so far.
Chivalry 2 is scheduled for June 8 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC (exclusive to the Epic Games Store).
