Publisher Focus Home Interactive confirmed a new partnership in a press release today. The focus is on a completely new game brand from Homeworld makers.
For example, Focus Home Interactive has made a name for itself as a publisher of World War Z or A Plague Tale: Innocence. The company also wants to cause a stir in the future. For this purpose, a new partnership with the developer studio Blackbird Interactive has been bagged.
Blackbird is responsible for Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak and the upcoming Homeworld 3. In addition to the release of the latest part of the space saga, the team should also focus on a completely new game brand, because this is the focus of the new collaboration.
There is not much known about the new title from Blackbird at the moment, apart from the fact that this time it should also be a game with a sci-fi setting. With regard to the new IP, the "in-depth knowledge of sci-fi settings" on the part of the developer is explicitly important in the press release.
Clarity will soon prevail, however, because the new title will officially be presented at PAX East next month. The publication is also scheduled for 2020. We'll keep you up to date!
