Apex Legends is adjusting Valkyrie’s abilities with their new patch.
On May 27, Respawn Entertainment released a minor hotfix for Apex Legends. This patch, in addition to fixing some bugs, also brought a nerve in Valkyrie’s tactical ability. As for the bugs with Arena mode penalties, it’s worth mentioning that these were disabled in a previous patch. Respawn plans to implement a hotfix for a hotfix that will be released next week.

The changes made with the May 27 patch were as follows:
- Valkyrie settings:
- Gliding while using Valk’s Tactical ability now consumes the same amount of fuel as sliding without using Tactics. This is a change in balance so that Valkyrie players cannot escape combat for long periods of time in endgame circles.
- Arenas: Fixed “Win X Rounds in Arenas” challenges not tracking wins correctly.
- Other: Fixed a flickering issue caused by legends with lighting effects in the lobby. Various stability fixes.
