There were already rumors, now it’s fixed: Microsoft is merging the Xbox Showcase with the newly acquired Studio Bethesda on the occasion of E3. There is now a specific date for this year’s appearance.

Microsoft and Bethesda have both held their own press conferences and presentations at E3 in recent years. Now that the Redmond technology giant has taken over Bethesda, the two companies are merging their events for the first time this year. Corresponding speculations had existed in advance, but have now been officially confirmed for the first time.

Accordingly, the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will take place for the digital E3 2021 on Sunday, June 13, 2021. If you want to be there live on the net, you should make a note of 7:00 p.m. German time that day. Microsoft specifies the duration of the showcase to be around 90 minutes.

Xbox Game Studios confirmed games for the showcase include Halo Infinite from 343 Industries, Everwild from Rare, Avowed from Obsidian, Perfect Dark from The Initiative, Fable from Playground Games, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 from Ninja Theory, and a new Forza Motorsport from Turn 10. On the Bethesda side, Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI are certainly the hottest known candidates for a show appearance.
