Game news Elite Dangerous Odyssey: A Brief Overview in Videos!
The new DLC from Elite Dangerous: Odyssey has been available for a few days and is getting a lot of attention with a complicated start. Since its release in late 2014, the British studio’s flagship title has continued to improve with the addition of more and more features with the updates that make the game more complex. Almost 7 years after its first launch, Frontier Developments is releasing a highly anticipated DLC that offers players a new perspective: the ability to walk and see our universe at a human level.
Unfortunately, the start didn’t go as well as expected, forcing Frontier CEO David Braben to apologize on behalf of the team. Problems with messed up servers, loads of bugs, crashes, all of these worries tarnished the arrival of the DLC. Several fixes have been made available on both the client and server sides.
A few patches later, what about? Is the latter more fluid and stable? We wanted to check this through several game sessions. Below are two gameplay videos raw during two phases of the game, namely the first mission of the tutorial and a visit to a base from the first person point of view.

In the end, Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is already much more playable than it was on the day it was released, but it remains relatively slow and it’s difficult to find good performance despite having a robust machine. Note that in the following videos the settings are at their maximum.
