Tell Me Why is free to use throughout June.
To celebrate Pride Month, Dontnod is making tell me why Available for free on Xbox game consoles, Windows 10 and Steam.
If you do not have access to the above platforms, you can subscribe to play games on any Android-based mobile phone or tablet through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
From now until June 30, downloading the game will give you permanent access to it, even after Pride Month is over.
When it was announced that it was starring Tyler Ronan, the game once again made headlines. The first transgender playable character in a game from a large studio. The complete story is released in three episodes, one episode a week.
“Since “Tell Me Why” was released in the late summer of last year, the team at Dontnod and Xbox Game Studios Publishing has been humbled and deeply grateful to many gamers, especially transgender and queer gamers, who are in our Understanding and hope are found in the game,” the announcement.
“We have received heartfelt messages from players from all over the world about Taylor’s return as a transgender person and how Alison’s struggle with trauma affected them, encouraged them, or made them feel less alone, especially in the ongoing global Covid-19 Epidemics and widespread transphobic rhetoric in the United States and the United Kingdom.”
The team at Dontnod provides the game for free to allow more people to access the game and encourage players to spend their money in places that directly affect the transgender and queer communities.
