The official Japanese Twitter-Account related to Kingdom Hearts recently held a Q&A session called "13 Questions of Darkness" and uncovered some surprising news that fans of the franchise are very happy about. There will be replenishments in several ways!
Accordingly, two new development teams have been established at Square Enix to work on Kingdom Hearts games. These teams work explicitly independently of the developers responsible for Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts Union χ, so they are working on additional projects accordingly.
