Japan: Famitsu reveals the Nintendo Switch has sold over 20 million units

Japanese video gaming news publication Famitsu has revealed that the Nintendo Switch system has now shifted over twenty million units in the land of the rising sun. Along with the hardware sales news, the company also revealed the top five best-selling Switch games since the system launched in March 2017 in Japan. Here’s the top five best-sellers:

1. Animal Crossing (6.78m)
2. Super Smash Bros Ultimate (4.29m)
3. Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield (4.05m)
4. Splatoon 2 (3.87m)
5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (3.84m)
