Double XP weekends are pretty common in games today, but they usually still don’t happen too often in a given game so as not to overload players with XP and shoot them through all of their incentives too quickly. . These Double XP weekends are also typically limited to one or two games per week, just because of how the developers’ schedules play out, but that’s not the case this time. Several different games run Double XP on weekends at the same time, so if you move from game to game frequently, you may have to make some tough decisions in the next few days.
Maybe games are running their Double XP weekends to compete with others, maybe they’re trying to get more eyes on their games during the busy summer gaming months, or maybe things have just lined up in favor of gamers this time. Some of the games don’t offer double XP when it comes to character or level growth, but they still offer double progression points, which is why we include those here as well. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone are frequent guests in the Double XP lineup. We rarely see one of the games benefiting from double the experience while the other does not, which means that players can easily jump between games to gain double the experience.
