After a year of lockdown in most of the world in the Covid-19 quarantine zone, perhaps the best is Ubisoft Upcoming name changed Rainbow Six Quarantine Area to Rainbow Six Extraction.
Ubisoft has told us that we will see more of the next “Rainbow Six” games at E3 in 2021, but now we also know what its name is: “Rainbow Six Extract”.
In a new press release, the publisher confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six pick-up-giving it its full name-will be fully displayed at Ubisoft Forward on June 12.
If you don’t know, Extraction is an expanded version of Siege’s limited-time event Outbreak in 2018, in which three players fight against mutant monsters.
“Rainbow Six Quarantine” was once renamed “Parasite”, but Ubisoft recently stated that “Parasite” may not be its final name. Hope this game can really be launched under this new nickname, and now it has it.
“Rainbow Six”, “Far Cry 6,” The Division and “Prince of Persia” will all be launched before April 2022-but we may hear more about it at E3 in 2021. We may also hear more about how the company plans to shift its focus from relying on AAA games to high-end, free-to-play games.
