We already published in 2017 Series cleaner. In this story-driven, high-speed stealth / action game set in 1970s America, you play as Bob C. Leaner, a professional crime scene cleaner who works for the mob. In 2021 we’re back with an ambitious sequel set in 90s New York, inspired by iconic films of the era!

New Year’s Eve 1999. Bob and his cleaning colleagues gather in the back of a funeral home that serves as the facade for their bloody businesses to celebrate the past decade and to remind people of the good old days. In the beginning, their get-together serves as a nostalgic journey to the early 90s, back to the time when they first met and took on their first unusual assignments. As the memories go on, strange inaccuracies pile up, revealing long-withheld truths that they have been hiding from one another.

in the Series cleaner, we’re expanding the ideas of the original game considerably to free the player from their puzzle-like limitations. Whether you want to sneak or sprint through the level, drag the corpse around or saw it to pieces, we have it all for you! With a variety of contextual interactions and more law enforcement, the game becomes much more open. And as the overall complexity increases, the heart of our original game – the disposal of corpses, blood, and evidence – is still there and feels better than ever.
Four different cleaners mean four different perspectives and play styles. We’ve weighed the brute force of Psycho, Lati’s agility and awareness, Vip3r’s cutting-edge technical skills, all of Bob’s good old fashioned tricks of the trade. Each mission ties in with one of the cleaners and unfolds a piece of their turbulent history over the decade.

Series cleaner played in a timeframe rarely explored in games: the 1970s. We have always prided ourselves on the art, sound and atmosphere that carried the spirit of the decade. In the sequel, our style has evolved. We switched to 3D to find a look that would suit our more mature tone of storytelling. We take the eccentric style of the first game and give it the atmosphere of 90s cinema, from Tarantino’s classics to cult crime novels to B-movie action favorites, and remix these well-known scenes into a unique shoot of our own in a decade full of colorful Colors of optimism … and the dirt underneath.
Musically we have this crude 90s punk nonconformity, the sound of many genres that shaped the end of the last century. East coast hip-hop, industrial metal and a sea of electronic music, from Beastie Boys and Wu-Tang Clan to Orbital, Prodigy to NIN and Ministry. It’s our way of developing a fresh aesthetic and realizing an overall ’90s vision.
