Pioneer Has had a tough time since it launched on April 1st, with server crashes, bugs, amazing nerfs, item disappearances, and more. It’s an extremely frustrating situation. And it seems Pioneer Developer People Can Fly understands this. In response, it released a new Community Appreciation Pack that includes various goodies, including a new “frustrated” emote.

Announced and published yesterday, The Community Appreciation Pack is an attempt to make amends after months of player frustration and disappointment. Besides the package, People Can Fly did some too minor balance changes and promised more content and changes soon.

The most stupid and yet most perfect gift in the bundle is a new “frustration emote”. Considering how often Pioneer breaks or annoys its players, this is used a lot. In fact, this community package designed to appease an angry gamer base suffers from a bug itself. Players are to receive a new, powerful legendary weapon – one that has never been obtained from loot or chests before. However, some players report getting duplicated legends that they already had. People Can Fly says they are working on a solution to this problem. In the meantime, you can use this new emote to share your feelings about the situation.

Pioneer published in April to numerous problems and problems. Some of them like Inventory will be deleted completely, have mostly been fixed. Other issues, including the extremely annoying connection glitch that triggers players in the middle of missions, are still there, causing headaches for those who are still playing. Another problem that has developed is the lack of content. The endgame is not very good and there is no reason for players to stay, and a lot of people including me dropped out of the game just a few months after it started.

Will this make-good package work? I am doubtful. But if you look at how tough things have been over the past few months and that there aren’t any exciting content roadmaps out there, I suspect that people will benefit a lot from this new frustration emote. So this is something.
