With Kraken eliminates all pre-programmed content for compatibility Surge 2 is more in its release. It is, or should be, the icing on the cake for the season pass. DLC promising more battles and scattering in an area never before seen in a new story thread. By the way, the only increase affecting the narrative segment. And in a game that has never met the expectations we set in, it cannot be said that what you bring is amazing.
Before that, it's worth noting that in order to put it right, one has to get over half the story mode, to Port Nixon. Once installed, here you can begin the orange boat to take you to VBS Krakow, a military ship converted into an overseas city. What was once the home of the rich and fortunate is now the tomb of beaten bodies and the souls full of burned souls in machine guns. Everything, under the threat of an AI called CAIN that sees it all with its red light point.
The new location focuses on variety. VBS Krakow's sunny roads and abandoned driveway give it an 8-foot touch that is nothing like what we have provided so far. The space is shocking, but it's a shame that we lack entertainment in it, because the only job is to destroy the CAIN sites. There are some audio files and a few relics used to spend time with your new friend, Proto, but he sings a lot to put them on a shoehorn. In one of them we had to face enemy waves (as we had done before) and in another it was time to return to the party of our living companion.
The area also looked better than the pirates who had raided their roads and had looted the ship. These new enemies seemed a bit like the bad guys out of the ones we had encountered in the base game, so they didn't order anything unusual in battle. The most notable was the CAIN focus, which forced us to take it all in a cool and gentle breeze, because if I caught it it would bring you dangerous spider robots. So, we had to start picking our attacks with an extra head, with duels-on-one where it was easy to get away from their red focus.
The top came when the two heads of the area were raised because they were brought in both, even in the final stages of the campaign. The first, combined Incinerator, put them on the ropes by accurately responding to their lashes with a flaming ax while removing dangerous spiders and burning the soil. In the second and final episode, which would give no clues, survival was just the beginning.
The worst thing about The Kraken is the length of its time, or more completely its lack of time. Just two hours passed and it was over. Since it is 100% complete and processing that we have been tracking a few times, so eliminating it should be very short. It is true that we liked a good portion of what we have to offer, but that it knows a little, and that can't take away how expensive it is to pass this season. In addition, considering that it comes when you've already upgraded the main mode, we don't really use the new weapon it brings because it will start and with all the grinding required to be able to measure it.
He arrives late and leaves soon, so no matter how well done he is, he doesn't have what he needs to be the important striker he is called. True, it's not insignificant in The Surge 2. But, at the very least, those who bought it have in front of them an ambitious plot with two generals that will offer a great battle.
