Current owners of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can now get a free upgrade to the new Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 version of the game. And good news for anyone who owns a hard copy but one of the disc-less PS5 or Series X models, you can get the upgrade too, according to a FAQ from EA.
The updated Jedi: Fallen Order includes the usual visual enhancements you’d expect from more powerful consoles: an improved frame rate and higher resolution for Xbox Series X, Series S, and PlayStation 5. (When Performance mode is turned on for Series X and PS5, the game runs with a Resolution of 1440p at 60 FPS.) There is also improved post-processing resolution for Xbox Series X and PS5, but not for Xbox Series S.
To get the improved game, players in need of a swamp just have to go to the EA website, choose your platform, select “Codes and Promotions” for your category, and “Replace Disc With Code” for your problem. Then simply fill out a web form, present the proof of purchase and you will receive your code.
EA says you can transfer your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 save files to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also on Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5. Any trophies and achievements you unlocked in the previous generation version of the game will be carried over to the latest version when you transfer your save game.
