Ubisoft y Netflix they have confirmed in the stream de #GeekedWeek which will finally release up to three animes of different games from the French developer. The first of Far Cry will be set in Blood Dragon, a spin off of the saga that premiered in 2013 as a DLC of the revolutionary Far Cry 3.
This first anime will be called Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon and will be in charge of Adi Shankar. The producer confirmed that Bobbypills will be in charge of animation and that several of those who worked on the Castlevania series will also do so on this new anime. In addition, he revealed the first details of the story that seems to be as parodic as the Blood Dragon DLC.

Far Cry y el Cyberpunk
Captain Laserhawk takes place in a parallel universe, the story takes place in the year 1992 of this retro futuristic world in which a large corporation called Eden takes control of the lives of almost everyone. For his part, Dolph Laserhawk is a super soldier who is willing to do one last job, a great robbery of Eden that guarantees him the financial security to escape with his boyfriend.
The trailer is quite eye-catching and looks like a video game, and the animation is eye-catching and high-quality. On the other hand, there is another Far Cry anime in production, although no more details were revealed than the fact that it will arrive after Captain Laserhawk and that it will be located in the same world as Far Cry 6.

Finally, it was confirmed that the Splinter Cell anime will have eight episodes and that it will be in charge of Derek Kolstad, the writer of John Wick and the production will be in charge of Sun Creature and Fost.
The good news is that it seems that these types of video game series are increasingly in better hands. And the bad news is that there are no release dates for any of these productions.
