E3 2021 will take place from June 12th to 15th as a newly designed, completely virtual online event. Nintendo, Xbox, Bethesda, Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, Capcom, and others will be delivering new video game announcements, trailers, release dates, and more.

PC gamers looking for a Pikmin-like solution have Tinykin that we can look forward to in 2022. The game from developer Splashteam features a tiny protagonist and a small army of helpful insects – the title Tinykin – was unveiled on Sunday during the PC Gaming Show.

Here is the narrative setup for Tinykin:

The year is 2748 and Milo has rediscovered the earth! He would go down in history for that feat, but when he lands on the planet he runs into a problem … He’s as small as a penny. And everyone is gone. And it’s the 90s.

As Milo, players explore a huge house and use Tinykin to maneuver their way through an oversized world by building ladders, bridges, carrying items, and more. Milo can also jump, skate, and grind, as you can see in the game’s debut trailer above.

Tinykin coming to Windows PC and unannounced consoles next year. Developer Splashteam consists of former Ubisoft developers who worked on the Rayman and Rabbids franchises.
