Microsoft’s is currently eagerly »What’s Next for Windows «event expected on June 24th. Because indications point to a new operating system called Windows 11. Freshly leaked screenshots from Windows 11 Pro now show parts of the user interface. What do you reveal about the supposed successor to Windows 10?

Taskbar-Symbole: The first two screenshots are from the Chinese website Tieba.Baidu.com. They show a rearranged taskbar with icons aligned in the middle. In addition, the exact designation (Windows 11 Pro) including version number (21996.1) can be seen in the info display:

Widgets: Quite a few more The Verge published screenshots and short video clips. Among other things, widgets seem to play a role in Windows 11:

Startup-Sound: Microsoft is apparently giving Windows 11 a new startup sound:

The new file explorer looks pretty similar to the current one. Only the icons are colorful and they seem a bit more clearly sorted. The tabs requested by many users cannot be recognized:

Most noticeable are the rounded windows. So far, the »Windows« are characterized by sharp edges, that seems to change with Windows 11:

In addition, the Xbox app will probably be integrated directly into the operating system and no longer needs to be obtained separately from the Microsoft Store, as is currently the case. Here Microsoft seems to want to link the console, Gamepass and Windows more closely and thereby further improve accessibility:

The Microsoft store itself, however, seems to remain unchanged. On the screenshots, the store is one-to-one with the current version in Windows 10. This is surprising in that the store is always the focus of changes:

However, it is also conceivable that Microsoft does not want to look into its cards yet with a view to the store.

Basically, it is important to keep in mind that the leaked screenshots are an early version of Windows 11, which may not yet represent the final product. In addition, they reveal very little about possible changes aside from the look and design.

Also, it is unknown whether Windows 11 is a completely new operating system or another iteration of Windows 10.

What do you all mean? Do you like the design of the pre-release Windows 11? Feel free to write it in the comments!
