Wales Interactive is a publisher that sets itself apart from the competition in one important way: it publishes almost only games in FMV. This acronym stands for Full motion video, where flesh and blood actors replace our usual more or less pixelated heroes. A genre that flourished in the 90s before hibernating until recently. The bunker is a good example of their work, right? The shapeshifter detective (the test here). The Welsh publisher has chosen E3 to present two new games for Xbox One. accompanied by their respective followers.
The first is called Night book, expected in July 2021, with a performer facing a demon. Presented as a psychological thriller, those responsible for the project worked beforehand Sker’s maid or The complex.
The second is expected for 2022 and is called Death Trap Dungeon: The Golden Room. In this one, which seems much more ambitious than the previous one, you play the adventurer in search of “the golden room”. Lots of puzzles and traps in the program, with different paths and endings. Based on the Heroic Fantasy, it will apparently use the same special effects techniques as the series The Mandalorian of Disney.
Niche games, of course, but sufficiently entertaining and varied to certainly win new fans!
