Sea of thieves Developer Rare dropped a big surprise on Sunday during the Xbox and Bethesda game showcase at E3 2021: Captain Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones come to the silly seafaring game in a new adventure called “Pirates of the Caribbean” Sea of Thieves: The Life of a Pirate. On Thursday, Rare gave fans another look at this upcoming content with a new gameplay trailer.
The new trailer features more of the new story, scary new areas, new enemies, and new cosmetics – yes, you and your crew can dress up like Jack Sparrow – come in Sea of Thieves: The Life of a Pirate when it comes out as a free update on June 22nd. The gameplay trailer also apparently reveals that players will literally encounter the game’s Kraken face to face.
Sea of thieves is available for Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and is part of an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
