Sega has released an unusual but humorous update Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. Sadly, however, it is currently limited to the Steam (PC) type of game.
Allows AiAi and friends to run around a cube, triangle or star instead of a normal old ball. To use this feature, all that a player needs to do is type the "key", "triangle" or "star" on the character selection screen with their keyboard.
The official Monkey Ball Twitter account reiterated that the update was only for Steam users and also mentioned how players might not be able to clear all stages of the game with new features.
