If we take a closer look at the listed studios, one can roughly imagine which games could make an appearance in the Xbox Games Showcase 2021:
Double Fine: The US developer studio will most likely show something for the upcoming Psychonauts 2, which will be released on August 25, 2021.
Obsidian: The studio already showed the first pictures of The Outer Worlds 2 at E3. Since the trailer shown was not very informative, we can assume that there will be news about the upcoming science fiction adventure. Avowed would also be another possible topic.
Rare: The developers of Sea of Thieves showed on the Microsoft show what the future of their pirate game should look like. In a large collaboration with Disney, there will be game content from Pirates of the Caribbean. We hope for more information in the upcoming showcase.
Ninja Theory: As is well known, the best comes at the end. The British development studio achieved a great success in 2017 with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The long-awaited sequel was announced in 2019. Since there has been no further information or pictures so far, the chances are very good to see new material in the showcase.

According to IGN the focus is primarily on interviews with the developers and behind-the-scenes recordings. For this reason, we assume that there will be no further major new announcements.
