Without any publicity, Konami A demo of PES 2022 has been launched PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, with Xbox One -You can play now.
The game is actually called the “New Football Game Online Performance Test” (as it is of course) and can be downloaded and played without PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold (thanks to Eurogamer).

According to Eurogamer, the demo only has four playable teams (you can choose between Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona), and there are also cross-generational games between PS4 and PS5 and between Xbox consoles.
The demo saw the series transfer from Konami’s proprietary Fox Engine to Unreal Engine, and demonstrated Konami’s efforts to use the new framework for the first time.
