Fans had to wait a long time, soon the time will come: The third map for the successful co-op PvP shooter Hunt: Showdown is in the starting blocks. For the first time we see the new map in action. We summarize everything worth knowing for you here.
The new map is called DeSalle and will appear “soon” on the test servers before it goes live. An exact release date is not yet known. But you can get in the mood for the new trailer:

No experiments
We see that Hunt remains true to himself above all else. Developer Crytek saves experiments with the setting or the game modes, the new level DeSalle also plays, as expected, in the late 19th century. As on the other two maps, the monster hunt takes place in the swamp of Louisiana.
Nevertheless, in DeSalle we encounter tons of new sights, such as a viewing platform that was built from a ship’s hull. A quarry and a large logging camp can also be seen as localities. As with the two existing cards, the fight takes place over all distances.
Hunt: Showdown has mainly added new DLC hunters, weapon skins and a new boss enemy since the full release in summer 2019, but also rebalanced and improved the gameplay a lot. The new map is now the first really big new content for the multiplayer shooter.
