So far, Microsoft has not yet commented on a specific release date for Halo Infinite and does not want to do so at the moment. Meanwhile, the general period seems to be fairly certain.
Actually, Halo Infinite was supposed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X / S, but that went badly. We remember: after the rather moderately positive feedback after the first presentation, the title was moved heavily. An exact release date is still not known, but the targeted period in the fourth quarter of 2021 seems to be becoming more and more certain, based on new statements from Xbox boss Phil Spencer.
A specific date is still not in sight, but the game’s release before the end of the year is largely on the dry side. The exact date apparently also depends on the progress of another game, probably so as not to compete with yourself. Ultimately, there should be clarity in the summer. You don’t want to comment until the date has really been set and you don’t have to pick a date and then postpone it again. The possible release period has now shrunk to a range of three to four weeks.
As for the other game in question, it should be Forza Horizon 5. It is understandable that Microsoft has little interest in the two titles getting in the way of each other in the run-up to Christmas.
