Hey super animals, the island is heating up and that can only mean Super Summer Royale is here!
Prey, shoot and fruit
In addition to the usual weapons, bananas and projectile birds, you will now find fruit baskets scattered all over the island, which can be redeemed in the summer event shop for 8 new limited summer cosmetics and 17 old summer articles. Survive longer to earn more fruit baskets and start hunting early to get as many as you can before the event ends on July 20th!
Just in time for summer, we have also added two brand new super animal breeds to the research laboratory: the Super Avocado Sloth and Super Dragonfruit Wolf. These additions expand the list of fruit-themed animals that began with Super Watermelon Skunk and Super Pineapple Hedgehog last year.
Most importantly, you can now find beach balls along the shoreline that you can and should kick. Just try not to come … you already know …killed while you play beach soccer.
Excellent feedback
We’d like to say a big thank you to all of you for making our Xbox Game Preview debut such a huge success! Thanks to you, Super Animal World’s population more than doubled in the first two weeks, and we enjoyed meeting so many of you and hearing your suggestions and feedback. We’re already working hard to implement a lot of it.
First off, we’ve added controller button bindings in this update so you can now customize your controls on Xbox! We also had good conversations with some of you about ways to fine-tune aiming with a controller. We are particularly focused on optimizing the reticle design / distance and the way the left stick affects movement / aiming. You should see some of these tweaks in our next big content update.
Another feature in high demand was cross-platform parties so you can team up with your friends on different platforms. It comes with some technical complexity so we can’t say exactly when it might be added just yet, but we understand how nice it would be, so we’re actively looking for ways to support it! We will update you as soon as we have more information.
Thanks also to those who added new animals, outfits, game mechanics, and other new features to ours. have suggested Discord server! We take all of your feedback into account as we plan our next updates and we look forward to sharing the surprises we have in store for you all over the coming months.
