Warframe‘s story recently brought a new antagonist to the fore, and it looks like he’s getting some support. The next update to the game, Sisters of Parvos, comes out on July 6th and brings a great new Corpus opponent for players to battle against against cute weapons.
Parvos Granum is the founder of the Corpus, and he’s returned from space limbo to lead the faction. Hence the title “Sisters of Parvos” – it created some really powerful bodyguards, and now they want to kill us. These assassins are the corpus equivalent of the Grineer’s Kuva Liches, and players will have to undergo multiple encounters to either permanently kill them or add them to their crew as allies.
The game’s new Warframe is Yareli, who uses water skills to fight her enemies. She also has her own surfboard which is great for people who like K-Drive gameplay and fancy playing Tony Mechs Pro Skater.
SEA SNAKES
Form three water globules that seek out enemies and expand upon contact, damaging and immobilizing their victims at the same time.
MERULINA
Summon Merulina, a rideable creature of the waves and the inspiration for K-Driving. Merulina protects Yareli by absorbing much of the incoming damage.
AQUABLADES
Tear your way through enemies in orbit with a trio of water blades.
JUMPING FLOOD
Drag enemies into a devastating maelstrom, then blow them away in a watery explosion. Any enemy trapped in the vortex increases the damage of the explosion.
PASSIVE: Yareli gains 100% increased critical chance for secondary weapons if she has moved for at least 1.5 seconds.
Warframes Sisters of Parvos update releases for all platforms at the same time. Later this summer, Tennocon’s annual convention of the game will feature the next updates to the game. Tennocon begins July 17th and will be a digital event.
