From the start, Huawei was committed to keeping HarmonyOS open to other manufacturers. Among the brands that showed initial interest was, for example, ZTE, although it later confirmed that it had no plans to install HarmonyOS on its mobiles, at least in 2021. Nokia could be the first.
According to IT Home, Nokia would test HarmonyOS, with the idea of installing it on the Nokia X60 series, destined to become the brand’s next flagship, at least in China. Some leaked specs of the terminal open us up to a screen with curved axes, a 6,000mAh battery and 200-megapixel cameras. And maybe HarmonyOS.
Nokia initially launched its Nokia X series in China, initially being equivalent to international models. However, this year it relaunched it globally with the Nokia X10 and X20, two inexpensive 5G mobiles. It remains to be seen whether the Nokia X60 will be a Chinese model or whether it will launch globally. This is important because HarmonyOS does not include Google services
