Apple released the first public beta of watchOS 8. A version which, although still in beta and contains bugs, considers Apple polite enough to deliver further than developers. Ready? We can already try all the new features that push the Apple Watch even further.
watchOS 8 more than just an update for our watches
Before updating the Apple Watch, the first thing to do is to update our iPhone coupled to iOS 15. Also remember that, unlike an iPhone or an iPad, it is not possible to downgrade an Apple Watch
- We’re opening Apple’s public beta website on our iPhone.
- If we haven’t yet, let’s play Register now record. If we are already registered, we touch Sign in open a session.
- We fill in our username and password and access the web.
- We enter the section watchOS.
- We descend slightly. Next to the title To start we touch register your iOS device.
- We played on Download profile
- We touch Install and we enter the code of our iPhone.
- We touch Install to accept the conditions.
- We still play Install to confirm.
- We touch Made or, on request To restart.
- We open the app Watch on our iPhone.
- We entered General.
- We entered Software update.
- When the public beta appears, click Download and install and we enter the device code.
It’s easy. Once these steps are completed, we simply enter Settings
As we always remember that while this is one of the most stable beta releases we’ve seen in recent years, it is still a beta. Apple recommends that you do not install these versions on common devices and do so on secondary devices.
