Star Wars: The Old Republic celebrates its tenth birthday on December 20, 2021. In order to properly celebrate this anniversary, the online role-playing game is giving itself (and its fans) a new add-on. “The Legacy of the Sith” will tell the story of Darth Malgus. But new players should also benefit from the expansion.
With the publication of Legacy of the Sith, the official anniversary celebrations are also set to begin. New content, events and updates are also planned for 2022.
During our last inspection visit in 2019, SWTOR cut a good figure for its age. We have recorded more about this in a video for you:

How good is SWTOR today?
Return to a known planet
The developers are still keeping a low profile on the story, but they already reveal this much: The players will travel to new as well as known planets to uncover and thwart the plans of the Sith Lord Darth Malgus. Among other things, you stop on the water planet Manaan
New adventures also mean new battles and experience points gained. Therefore, the developers are increasing the level limit by five, so that you can now go up to level 80. In addition, there will be new group content that will be among the toughest challenges in SWTOR. A flashpoint in a grave on the planet Elom and an operation in the wreck of a research station are mentioned.

Combat styles are designed to individualize the class experience
This may all sound very fun to veterans, but what about the classes themselves? How do you add new flavor to a long-standing system? For this purpose, the developers have come up with the so-called fighting styles, with which you your Further customize the gaming experience
Thanks to the fighting styles, you can combine your chosen class story with skill sets from another tech or power user class. No further details were yet to be found, but there are still a few months to go before publication.
Newcomers can look forward to a revised character creation. Updates for the property and equipment system are also mentioned as additional content. But here, too, it remains to be seen what exactly is meant by this announcement.
