Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio y SEGA have shared the introductory cinematic from Lost Judgment, the sequel to Judgment. The first one got excellent reviews in its day due to a twist in the Yakuza formula in which we were incarnated as an agent of justice instead of a member of the mafia.

Takayuki Yagama won the hearts of gamers and SEGA took note so we have a sequel in less than two years. Apparently it will be quite continuous both in terms of themes and gameplay, although this time it will also be released in the new generation.

Sticky theme music

The shared cinematic looks like something out of a shonen anime, the Rasen theme by jon-YAKITORY and Ado has the electric guitar and voice of the typical Japanese production that makes your hair stand on end. The trailer focuses on introducing the characters, so we will see them staring at the camera intensely.

The game’s story revolves around a murder that occurs near a school, Yagama will play an undercover agent to discover the secret of the death of a student and fight throughout the game. And it is that we remember that the gameplay has investigation, exploration, complaint in court and combat in the classic Yakuza style.

Beyond this trailer there are still videos of the gameplay as such, we know what it will be like but not how it looks on the new consoles. We imagine that these images will arrive soon since we are a little over two months away from the launch of a title that is strangely not scheduled for PC.

Lost Judgment is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S on September 24.
