Event news PlayStation: Kena, Little Devil Inside … What can we expect from the next State of Play?
,
In line with the PlayStation communication “without warning”, Sony has just announced a new State of Play, which will take place on Thursday, July 8th, 2021 from 11pm and for 30 minutes. However, the company immediately announced the color (sorry for the disappointment): there will be no information on the new God of War, Horizon Forbidden West and the next generation of PSVR. The video will be limited to deathloop and games from independent studios and third party developers.
After a State of Play devoted entirely to Horizon Forbidden West at the end of May, Sony is downsizing and is now preparing to discuss other titles during a new edition of its video format, which will air on July 8, 2021 from 11 a.m. pm PlayStation doesn’t fool us: there won’t be any information on Aloy’s upcoming adventures, let alone God of War: “Ragnarok” and the highly anticipated PSVR 2. It’s Deathloop, the next title from Studio Arkane (Dishonored, Prey), expected on September 14th on PS5 and PC, which will be the big star of the evening.
A BIG GAMEPLAY EPISODE FOR KENA: BRIDGE OF SPIRIT?
When we think “Games created by independent studios and third-party developers” Several names come to mind when referring to PlayStation. Starting with that of Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released on August 24, 2021 for PC, PS4 and PS5. It is therefore a console exclusively for PlayStation. The adorable action-adventure title developed by Studio Ember Lab was also revealed during the PS5 showcase in June 2020 and had used a recent state of play to announce its release date. But he has always remained quite discreet in his appearances, with rare new pictures. So this new speech from PlayStation would be the perfect opportunity to show what the game really has inside.
A RELEASE DATE FOR THE VERY CURIOUS LITTLE DEVIL WITHIN?
Another title that has marinated us since it came out during a PS5 event (and even longer for those who knew it during the Steam Greenlight era): Little Devil Inside. The curious title of Neostream had aroused the curiosity of the players with its wacky and colorful artistic direction. At the moment it doesn’t have a release date, although a tweet now deleted from PlayStation, would have mistakenly sold the wick for a July arrival (which would have stayed with a communications problem from Sony earlier in the year). Little Devil Inside will be a mix of action, adventure, survival and RPG in which you will explore a surreal world. We’re glad.

NEWS FOR STRAY, SOLAR ASH, GHOSTWIRE TOKYO AND FORSPOKEN?
If we are still rolling out the list of games that are featured on the PlayStation site that we don’t really hear about anymore, we can quote Stray – also known as the cute game with a cat and robots – whose news will undoubtedly be from Annapurna Interactive, Publisher of the title, which will host its very first showcase on July 29, 2021. Why not include information on bigger titles like Ghostwire Tokyo, which we haven’t heard from in a long time, and Forspoken (formerly Project Athia)? the PlayStation blog post calls for restraint. Solar Ash, the next title from the makers of Hyper Light Drifter, has appeared regularly since its announcement, also from Sony. But the game still hasn’t announced its release date. Why don’t you use this state of play to do so?
