Game news Death Stranding Director’s Cut: The PS5 Edition describes its new features in a new trailer
That was the little surprise of the Summer Game Festival a few weeks ago: Death Stranding will also land on PlayStation 5 through an exclusive version (well, a priori). The State of Play broadcast on Thursday May 8th provided the opportunity to learn more about this next-gen version in a new trailer.
If the star of this State of Play was undoubtedly Deathloop, of which ten new minutes of play can be seen at this address, Sony has also highlighted its great ally Death Stranding, which does not yet have to present itself to PS5 owners. In order to do this, Kojima Productions has developed a Director’s Cut just for the White Monolith, which will contain some additions to optimize the experience.
The adventure of Sam Porter Bridges will therefore involve new gameplay elements, especially those related to combat
Hiking and traveling are not neglected as the possibility has been announced to make the human cannon (literally) – a valuable means of moving quickly around the area – while Sam can be assisted by a two-legged robot that can carry loads of loads. We should also notice the reinforcement of the platform with the appearance of real stepping stones and downright from the “Fragile Circuit” with track races behind the wheel of precious automobiles!
Death Stranding Director’s Cut will also, and most importantly, focus on new clashes and new story missionsalthough their nature has not yet been clearly defined.
By the way, this new trailer takes the opportunity to say that this next-gen version of the very special title by Hideo Kojima is now Available for pre-sale : The release is scheduled for September 24, 2021 on PlayStation 5.
