Wrestling fans are a passionate bunch and it’s easy to spot that passion on live television. Through posters and t-shirts, fans share the love for their favorites and fight for what they believe in – but something even deeper has been brewing in the background of the wrestling shows. You see, most people settle disputes in person or online. But wrestling fans do it differently: by bringing passive-aggressive posters to wrestling shows.
As highlighted by a Twitter user @ RIVERA992011 recently (and from Botchamanias Maffew Gregg in 2019) an “RPG war” has been fought silently in the backdrop of live wrestling matches for years. And now that the fans are back in the arenas the war continues to heat up.
It’s common for fans to bring funny posters or memes to wrestling shows to get noticed on camera, but over the past three years posters have started to address deeper issues. In fact, they address an issue that many players care about: which one Final Fantasy is the best.
While newer posters are disreputable Person 5 Having recently found their way onto television, the most common front in this long-running wrestling poster-RPG war is the dispute over Final Fantasy.

The oldest poster seen seems to be the “FFVIII IS UNDERRATED ”sign that appeared on an episode of WWE Raw sometime before 2019.
This was then answered by a fan who insisted: “Final Fantasy 8 Sucks / Is Filth ”on subsequent shows. Another Fan mixed up with the bold statement “FFX2 > FF8“Which opened the floodgates for all kinds of insane recordings.
In a recent episode of AEW, a fan stated Final Fantasy 6 was “still goat“. Later, a privy fan brought a sign that read “While they argue” Final Fantasy VIII, we stand Final Fantasy Tactics “, which could actually be the “most correct” attitude of all. Another fan held a sign that read “Person 5 sucks “.
And when wrestling fans noticed the argument on live television, the phenomenon spread.
It is not just Final Fantasy the wrestling fans no longer delivered. “Kingdom Hearts sucks“Asuka from WWE once chased into the arena. Another fan wore a sign asking for it the ‘prohibition’ of Bayonetta. There was also a sign reference an opaque one smash Dispute over payment.
But perhaps the most important sign to emerging from the wrestling RPG war is This one hereNintendo humbly urges to finally locate Mother 3. This is something we can all get over with.
With wrestling fans slowly returning to the arenas after a year and a half absence due to the coronavirus, we can expect the RPG wars to intensify in the future. We do not agree which one Final Fantasy Best of all, we can all look forward to seeing more drama in the background of the live TV.
There are guaranteed to be more unusual signs just waiting in the starting blocks.
