The first look at the film will be available from August 13 to 26 at the Ikebukuro Free Cinema in Tokyo, with its first chapter and special content that will only be available at this screening.
This edition will bring in addition to its first scenes, the recording of the pilot of the play, recordings of the work of the voice actors for the tape and comments from the director Shigeyoshi Tsukahara.
Previously, the animation studio Twin Engine began a donation drive in April 2020 to raise the funds necessary for the realization of ‘Kurayukaba’, with the goal of raising 20 million yen ($ 188,000).
After finishing with only 8,798,500 yen, which is equivalent to $ 79,513 US dollars, the studio decided to carry out the film divided into chapters, hoping that its premiere will provide sufficient funds for the continuation.
As it is a film of 40 minutes in total, the safest thing is that in August we can see 20 to 24 minutes of its totality, giving way for more fans to join together to carry out the project.
