Sifu appeared on State of Play, bringing some bad news and a new trailer.

SifuThe unarmed combat action game from Sloclap has been postponed until early 2022. The news was accompanied by the release of a new trailer, which made its debut in the State of Play live broadcast on Thursday.

The reason for game delay is too common in the industry. Restrictions caused by the coronavirus lockdown have slowed development, which means that the team will either have to step up their efforts to launch it this year or postpone it until next year-this is what Sloclap does.

The good news is that we have a new trailer to watch. This is actually the first Master trailer explaining the game’s unique aging mechanism, and the original trailer made fun of this. In Sifu, the protagonist grows old with each death. This allows him to stand up immediately and continue fighting, but he cannot grow old forever.

You don’t necessarily become weak with every death. Sloclap wants to turn the idea of ​​classic Kung Fu masters getting better with age into a game. The trailer also showed a new environment: nightclubs and some new enemy types.
