Koei Tecmo has announced that Samurai Warriors 5 will have a demo on all platforms next week. We’re only 15 days away from launching the game, so we’ll basically get the demo a week early to see how it runs on our hardw are, and of course see if we like it.
Samurai Warriors 5 is the new installment in a long-lived saga of the Japanese developer, it comes with very current graphics, the usual gameplay and the return of several characters. The conflict between deities and warriors is still present and history continues to be related to myths and ancient history of China.
Progress is saved
The demo will let us play in two different levels and choose between three characters: Hideyoshi Hashiba, Tokugawa Ieyasu, or Toshiie Maeda. At the end of the demo we will be able to keep the save data so that it is transferred to our real game when we buy the game, if we decide to do so. It is a good incentive for those who do not want to repeat the “grinding” of an initial mission.
Users in Japan who have already tried the demo have revealed that the characters can be brought up to level 5 and that we can keep the weapons that we unlock in this demo. Therefore, we have some freedom to play this demo for several hours, which feels like a free Early Access.
Much is expected of this installment, since we did not have a numbered one for 7 years, also it will reach all platforms (except smartphones), so there are few who cannot play it.
The Samurai Warriors 5 demo will be released on July 20 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Switch, and PC. The game will do so on July 27.
