According to an urban legend from his hometown, when the fireworks are lit the “summer ghost” appears, a spiritual girl who will become the strongest bond between friends.
Each has their own reason for having to meet the ghost of summer: Tomoya cannot live the life he envisioned for himself, Aoi cannot find his place in the world, and Ryō has his once bright future now out of reach. .
The legend and meeting their feelings suffocates them, causing the magic and problems of their lives to intermingle in an incredible production directed by Loundraw, the illustrator of ‘Kimi no Suizo

‘Summer Ghost’ will begin its tour in theaters across Japan on November 12, 2021, featuring voice actor Chiaki Kobayashi as the lead, Tomoya Sugisaki.
In addition to directing, Loundraw did the original character designs for Flat Studio, the production company Loundraw founded in 2019 and with help from Hirotaka Adachi on the script.
