Even if Marvel’s Avengers has been improving little by little since its launch, it still needs a lot of work to become the ‘game as a service’ that Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix hope it will be. That is why many have their eyes on the ‘War for Wakanda’ expansion. This DLC could be for this game what The Taken King it was for Destiny.
For now, it seems that they are on the right track with the voice they chose to play Black Panther (Black Panther) in English.
The Entertainment Weekly publication revealed that Christopher Judge has been hired to be the voice of King T’Challa / Black Panther in the game. Marvel’s Avengers. Some of you will recognize him as Teal’c from the series Stargate. But most have undoubtedly heard his voice because he was Kratos in the excellent God of War from 2018.
Judge says he had initially rejected Crystal Dynamics’ proposal. He finally accepted after pressure from his mother and son, who wanted to hear him playing the iconic king of Wakanda.
The article also mentions that Evan Narcisse, writer of the comic book series Rise of the Black Panther, is working on expansion. The plot will have Wakanda fending off the attack of Ulysses Klaw, who has been hired by AIM to seize as much Vibranium as possible.
Christopher Judge’s voice will be able to be heard as Black Panther when the ‘War for Wakanda’ DLC expansion hits the game. Marvel’s Avengers in August 2021.
