There is no doubt that the launch of Nintendo Switch It was a game changer for the video game industry with never-before-seen design and function.
Well, since then there have been repeated occasions in which other smaller companies have tried to imitate or even copy blatantly this format, although we have recently received quite surprising news about it.
Turns out that Valve, the company that owns Steam, has announced your own hybrid video game console baptized as Stream Deck, and that it will have its own operating system called SteamOS. In addition, as with the hybrid console, you can also connect to a dock to play on a monitor or television.
This console is designed to play absolutely the entire video game catalog that we can find on Steam, so it includes a AMD custom processor that will give it enough power to do so, along with a GPU up to 1.6 TFlops, 16 GB RAM memory and three different versions of internal storage (64, 256 and 512 GB respectively), where compatible with microSD cards to later increase this capacity.
Finally, its price has also been revealed, which as expected, becomes more expensive with each version with greater storage:
- 64GB model: 399 $
- 256GB model: 529 $
- 512GB model: 649 $
