Valve officially unveiled the Steam deck today.
Valve announces that the Steam deck will be available from December 2021 for 419 dollars. All hardware DEtails are available here. A reservation is also possible from tomorrow 7:00 p.m.
The 7 inch handheld with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels (16:10 aspect ratio) relies on an AMD APU. The CPU consists of a Zen 2 4c / 8t, 2.4 – 3.5 GHz (up to 448 GFlops FP32). The GPU on 8 RDNA 2 CUs, 1.0 – 1.6 GHz (up to 1.6 TFlops FP32). The technical performance is there here.
In addition, the Steam Deck offers Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi transmitter, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, 2 × 2 MIMO, IEEE 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac and much more.
