Sony Interactive Entertainment recently started offering PC ports on some of its major PS4 exclusives. If the Japanese manufacturer has already confirmed that more ports of this type are coming, a new source insists on their number. And claims to know the identity of a title that will not be part of it.

The rumor of the day of upcoming PC ports for PlayStation games came from the Twitter account of Lance McDonald, a gamer who specializes in data mining and modding games developed by FromSoftware. In a series of tweets posted earlier this week, Lance McDonald talked about these ports and whether or not a PC version of Bloodborne is among them. According to him, the news is not good for PC gamers looking to try this famous PS4 exclusive:
When Bloodborne is announced for PC, I’d like to smugly say, “I secretly knew all about it!” but it would be a lie. I am aware of several upcoming PC ports from PlayStation-exclusive games, but unfortunately none of them are Bloodborne. But I still have the hope that it will just come out of nowhere.

If Bloodborne ever makes it to PC, I’d like to smugly say, “I knew about it!” But that would be a lie. I am aware of several PC ports on exclusive PlayStation games. Unfortunately, none of them are Bloodborne. Even so, I still hope it (a PC port from Bloodborne) will come out of nowhere at some point.
For some reason, a lot of people think that I secretly know about unannounced projects related to Bloodborne. I keep looking for information and learn of all the false “leaks” and “rumors”. But unfortunately nothing is true of what I have found.
The reason for these tweets is to emphasize that I have absolutely no interest in lying about inside news if I don’t have one. And that, even if I personally noticed a remaster of Bloodborne. People follow me for content that has been removed from games and for hacks, not to interact with someone who has easily gained influence.

If these tweets were primarily intended to alert his subscribers that he has secret knowledge of the existence of a PC port from Bloodborne, then, if he is correct, they will make it possible to see something more clearly on PC.
So it seems that Sony Interactive Entertainment will accelerate its presence on the PC, but that acceleration, at least for now, will not bypass the release of a PC version of Bloodborne. Obviously, Lance McDonald’s comments about his absence should be treated with caution. In any case, this topic appears to be clearly categorical.
As a reminder, SIE President Jim Ryan said last February that Days Gone was the first “from a listPlayStation exclusives are coming to PC, and an investor document distributed by Sony last June stated that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will now be ported to PC.
