There will be no Star Wars games at EA’s show next week.
EA has come out to preemptively confirm that there will be no new ones Star wars EA Play Live summer show held on July 22.
In other words, the publisher hinted that something related to Star Wars would be announced next year. This means that the rumored “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” sequel will not appear on this year’s show. Assuming EA’s goal is to launch the game in 2022, it might make sense to announce it later this year or early next year.
In fact, now that Disney has established the Lucasfilm Games brand, Star Wars games are no longer EA’s exclusive products. So far, the brand has announced a new open world game from The Division dev Massive, and it is said that more projects from other teams are in development.
However, apart from the obvious sequel to one of the best-selling games in recent memory, we don’t yet understand which Star Wars games EA is developing.
