First indiscretions about the type of title
After the first noises from the hallway, which are confirmed by these first pictures, it would be a Team multiplayer FPS with characters from Tom Clancy licenses. In all likelihood, this is the title that leaked in early June, a few days before the Ubisoft Forward conference.
Indeed, the VGC sitein particular, had published an article that revealed a certain amount of information. The title would be code-named “BattleCat” and would offer two game modes: Escort – escort a package to an extraction point – and ringleader – retrieve rings from fallen players. The “Echelons” from Faction, the “wolves” of Ghost Recon Breakpoint and the “cleaners” of The corporate division. Note that each character class has its own set of skills.
We know thatUbisoft wants to move a little more towards the free-to-play market. It also was last May The Heartland Division had been advertised as such. Will this “BattleCat” also be available for free? See you tomorrow to find out everything.
