I must admit that I was happy with the Moutain Dew Zero Sugar, which will be a reference to the whole Zero thing. I was happy because I don't drink soda now, without a review, especially since I was trying to reduce my sugar years ago. So the new version of Dew with zero sugar sounds fantastic. But after trying, I don't rush to buy a bunch of cans.
Let's start with the slides! Zero has zero sugar and tastes better than the Mountain Dew Diet. I actually did a blind taste test of all three types of Mountain Dew and initially, I chose Diet Zero. But when I drank more and more and that old Diet Dew diet was already in my mouth and I immediately remembered why I always hated that version of Dew. Zero, on the other hand, wasn't that bad. It still had unique background colors, but it was flawless and, rather, fun.
But that can be a big problem for Zero compared to Dew and Dew Dew: How fun. When I took notes during a blind taste test, I noticed that it was “sickly sick.” And it is. My girl tried it and she couldn't take a sip before quickly putting the cup down and saying: "That's bad!" I don't think it's that bad, but it's not good!
Another thing to note about Zero is that it is consumed over Diet Dew and contains no orange juice mixed. (It has always been part of Diet Dew's incredible flavor profile.) Now I don't know if there are any additional caffeine or chemicals they use to make Zero Sweet Mountain Dews.
I don't think this is a bad thing or that this means it's bad for you. (Yes, all soda is not good for you, but I don't think this is going to be any worse.) It's just something I noticed after pouring clear glass drinks after my misdiagnosis test.
Also, for those who are curious, I mix all three into a large cup and drink it. It was bad. It tasted much sweeter than regular Zero or Dew, but did it have Zero and Dietary type drawings and it also tasted kind of green soda? I do not recommend combining them all. Another reason I do not suggest that this combo is due to the reaction you might get when buying sodas. I bought all three Mountain Dews at a nearby gas station and a young man on the register, after seeing me run out of three bottles at the counter, said: "I think you really like Mount Dew, huh !?" I quickly fell into a lie. exited the store.
I think Zero will eventually drink the drink that most people still want to DO, but they probably don't want to add sugar to sugar every time they make a store. Personally, for me, I have better sugar-free alternatives. But if I ever wanted a good cold Mountain Dew, I'd grab a Zero. And at least I never drink Diet Dew again.
