They arrive two days after iOS 14.7 on iPhone, but better late than never. Stable versions of iPadOS 14.7 and macOS Big Sur 11.5 are now available for everyone to download or just let the update apply automatically.
One final touch-up before focusing 100% on future versions
In both updates we have Adjustments in the Podcasts app interface (Now we can better filter podcasts that we follow from others), and macOS Big Sur 11.5 also fixes playback counter errors in Apple Music. For its part, iPadOS 14.7 solves several audio problems and integrates the Apple Card mode well known to American users.
These versions should be the last major updates for iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and macOS Big Sur. From now on, Apple will devote all its efforts to the betas of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS Monterey, tvOS 15 and watchOS 8; although over time minor security updates are applied.
As these are stable versions, we recommend that you install them to avoid the errors that have been fixed and also to be protected against possible vulnerabilities. I’ve talked about the risks and effects of not updating our systems before, so I stress that.
