About ten years ago we could have been playing Halo: Reach for the first time, but it looks like the years haven't gone by its pixels. Despite him years, the last Halo theme created by Bungie continues to provide some amazing experiences with a less frequently played campaign, shooting mode is still with waves of customized enemies and the multiplayer mode is still as good as we remember. I wish all games wore out like this.
This shooting game is the first of another Halo, and can be played on the Xbox One using the back compatibility program, but the remaining version has just been released and redirected via PC and Microsoft console. The sharp animation has been voted on and performance has improved dramatically, but thanks to the fact that the game was presented with a natural animation and a visual audiovisual design, nothing else was needed to continue to be an amazing game.
It is the first time that Reaching is available on PC, and it is the first Halo title: The Master Chief Collection. Including Halo 1, 2, 3 and 4, in addition to ODST and Reach. Other games in the series will come with a different cast of episodes. This bothers me because even though we know they will be introduced, we don't know exactly when to return to Halo: CE and its successors. We've reviewed The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One when it comes out and we can say that PC players will enjoy the format of this mastodonic tract, so they have hours and hours to play forward.
Starting with Reach makes sense, because it will take place in a series of events that will provide the context of the main story. The emergence of the King in this proquel is a brief one, revolving around the Noble Team, a group of six Spartans who end up on a farm attacked by the Treaty. This foreign threat demands something important, and the Noble Team will manage to protect that precious commodity and remove it from this planet before it falls into the hands of the enemy.
Things are not going to be unpleasant for the Spartans, because the Treaty is attacking all states. All this confusion will be part of our adventure, because conspiracy begins around the world. We will have a series of machines aimed at different team members, and we can play in the shoes of Noble-6, the last member of the team. This will allow us to hear what it is like to be fighting in the alliance of warring parties as they experience shootings and critical situations in their vehicles. The soundtrack only increases the epic of these situations, because it has developed over the years as a fine wine.
Halo 3 – its predecessor – was a bit of a game, but Bungie changed the tonic by adding sprint power, using jetpacks and more to make a lot of improvements. We will get all of this in the campaign, but for most players it will show all their usefulness. The jetpacks will allow us to move upwards, the sprint will allow us to get out and get into situations where that time and dictionaries will serve as a horde of enemies at critical times. We can use one skill at a time, but the overall balance is so good that no skill is "broken," as would be the case in today's games.
The campaign isn't too long, but it can be played in a collaborative mode and each level is made to be able to pull it off instead, so you can get more juice this way. But if we're tired of seeing the credits we can often try shooting mode. This mode is based on protecting the waves map of the enemy accessing it. There are many sandbox maps to choose from, so even if it's not the deepest way we can have some fun in the long run when we meet teammates.
We left the best last time; multiplayer PvP. A lot has changed since 2010 when it comes to online gaming, and here we see that Bungie is doing a different job. The track continues to produce the best feelings even though he has played for almost a decade after his departure. There are many maps and multiplayer modes, within which we will find Slayer mode variants and some interesting alternatives for fans, such as Griftball, to say the least. We've re-entered our favorite maps in Slayer, SWAT and Capture flag modes, and can make sure everything works correctly. The shots are well received and the refresh rate remains steady, even if you play with a good pair of helmets while running around can end up frustrating. If you want to get into a good multiplayer PvP, Access should be very high in your plans.
In PC type we didn't get many options in settings, so if your PC is out of range it may not be possible to adjust the parameters needed for everything to work properly. FPS can be turned on when we have a PC in cases – but we don't recommend VSync-, or an option to set it to 60 is also available. We can modify the field of view and choose between running, original experience or advanced settings, although most PCs can run the game without problems, which is common given the age of the title. The level of the other constructs could have been improved, and the gamut color could have been more colorful, but overall the game looked good.
Eventually we can play with the keyboard and mouse, many people will choose this method because it will allow us to understand exactly, but Reach continues to convey the feeling that he was made to play with command. We will have multiple command play schemes, so if we are one of those who have played Halo using LB and RB jump we can continue to use the same method. And we can customize our character in many ways with the weapon settings that many memories bring us. These sets can be opened using an optimized optimization system that reminds us a lot.
Looking at it as a whole, we are faced with a general restoration of the best game, something that shows up in the small variety of options available on PC. This shooting game will be about 10 years old, but it's so well made that it doesn't look like that year. He congratulates Bungie on his first job, and at 343 Industries, in charge of reviving the project. For 39.99 euros — or what the Game Pass subscription costs us, because it comes included— we can play Access from now on, and there's nothing we can put on the glove in plans to celebrate Halo: COmbat Evolved and Halo2, as well as Halo 3, Halo 4 and Halo 3: ODST. It seems unlikely that we get so much content for such a small amount.
