Another detail to highlight on the EVGA P6 Supernova is its size, as it is the shorter power supply rated at 1000W than EVGA has released to date. Since its measurements are 86mm high by 150mm wide and 140mm long. This therefore allows for additional space on the PC.
The third point to emphasize is the better capacity that the EVGA P6 Supernova has to adjust tension compared to the EVGA P2 of the same brand. Not everyone needs a 1000W power supply in their PC, which is why the EVGA P6 Supernova is available in lower wattage models, but with all the specifications and features that we mentioned about the 1000 W model. More precisely, the other three models have a power of 850 W, 750 W and 650 W.
The other models, despite their lower power, retain the ten-year warranty and the 80 PLUS Platinum certification of the 1000 W version, which makes them ideal as power supplies for much smaller PCs.
Pricing and availability
The EVGA P6 Supernova with a power of 1000 W is already available on the EVGA site at a price of 299 US dollars, as for the rest of the models in the range, for the moment we do not know the price, but obviously it should be much lower than the 1000W model.
Of course, EVGA limits the number of units to 2 per delivery address. The reason is very clear: Energy efficiency is very important in mining and EVGA is not interested in selling its power supplies for mining farms.
