Horror game fans got some wonderful news during Nintendo’s presentation at E3 2021. Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water (Project Zero 5), a game that was released for Wii U in 2014, I’d finally make the leap to modern consoles. Now, thanks to a new trailer we learn more details about this launch.

The trailer also takes a look back at the story and introduces the characters: Yuri Kozukata, Ren Hojo, and Miu Hinasaki. They enter the ‘suicide forest’ of Mount Hikami looking for the missing while facing the spirits that inhabit the waters of the place. To defend ourselves we have the ‘camera obscura’, which can exorcise ghosts by taking photos of them.
